While not heavily armed or armored, Ranger Hunters can move rapidly across the field to strike enemies before they're even aware of their vulnerability. More importantly, Ranger Hunters are skilled at marking out vulnerable targets for their Brothers to exploit. Whether the enemy is caught in maneuvers, staggering from a hard hit, or simply lacking in resolve, Hunter scan identify a unit's weakest moment and provide that intelligence to the force commander.
Being light cavalry, Ranger Hunters are not skirmishers. However, their recurved bows allow them to strike at range while their mounts allow a rapid escape. Given time, Hunters can whittle down even hardened units.
